Credits - Sor3nt (Build this mod) - Miauz (Created the awesome Grenade and Gore models) How to use ? Just copy any files (except of ingame_pc.tex) from the Build folder into the A01_Escape_Asylum folder. And place the ingame_pc.tex into the global/pictures/ folder. That is it, you have now the Grenade like showed in the Video. https://youtu.be/FCFRzIR1Bcg Note: This mod show only the Gore element for the first Hunter, other Hunters just die.

Note : MHT supports only lvl A01, it cant be ported to other Levels except of Custom Levels yet.

Welcome back dude!

What do you think what happens to projectmanhunt ? Right, Pogo dont want to maintain the portal anymore and did not pay the Bill for the Domain. So its gone, but we have here a better place for us :)

Would be great when you also could join our Chat ;) (See main Navi)

It was a just a MH fan page, like this, not published or mentained by Rockstar.

And yes the domain just expired, it was anyway not a great place *g*

How to : Open your MDL (it need to be danny) Open your IFP Press Export Select Output folder Wait

Hi, you will need some tools.

  • - Manhunt 2 MDL Editor
  • - Manhunt 2 TEX/TXD Editor
  • - MHT (Manhunt Toolkit)

For this quick tutorial I will use the Shard Weapon as example

1) Open the level-folder where your wanted weapon exists (like levels/A01_Escape_Asylum/)

2) Use MHT to extract the resource3.glg file (mht unpack resource3.glg —only-unzip)

3) Open the new exported file in a Texteditor and search the wanted Weapon entry. (In this example „RECORD Shard_(CT)“)

These RECORD entry give us now some informations:

- The Record-Name „RECORD Shard_(CT)“

- The Used Model „MODEL Shard_(CT)“

4) Use MDL Editor to open the modelspc.mdl

5) Search the Model „Shard_(CT)“ and export it.

6) When u select the model inside the MDL Editor, u will see the used Textures for these Model. „Shard“ and „Shard2“

7) Open modelspc.tex with the TEX/TXD Editor

8) Search the Texture „Shard“ and „Shard2“, export them (not found? maybe the texture is loaded from the global file (/global/gmodelspc.tex))

9) Use MHT to extract the entity_pc.inst file (mht unpack entity_pc.inst)

10) Search the file named „Shard_(CT).json“ and save it somewhere

11) Go into the target level-folder where you want to place the weapon

12) Open modelspc.tex with the TEX/TXD Editor and add the exported Model and save the file.

13) Use MHT to extract the resource3.glg file (mht unpack resource3.glg —only-unzip)

14) Copy the RECORD block from the original resource3.glg at the end of the this file.

15) Use MHT to extract the entity_pc.inst file (mht unpack entity_pc.inst)

16) Copy the the previous saved Shard_(CT).json into the „export/entity_pc#inst/„ folder.

17) Open the Shard_(CT).json in a Texteditor , edit maybe the Spawn Position (X,Y,Z)

18) Repack the entity_pc.inst with MHT (mht pack entity_pc#inst)

Done, the weapon should appear ^^

Are u talking about "#dummy#resource28.glg" and "#optional#mh_fx_pc.tex" ? Thats alternative variations, optional, u can just remove "#...#" and replace it with the original ones. (resource28.glg and mh_fx_pc.tex)

Manhunt 2 - ModLoader by Sor3nt ########################### How it works ? ######### The ModLoader hook the binary read feature from Manhunt 2, looks for alternative files and if these are present, its loaded. Otherwise the original game files are loaded. How to install? ######### Just copy all files into the Manhunt 2 folder. How to place a mod? ######### Create a folder ?mods? inside your Manhunt 2 folder. Any folder inside ?mods? are processed by the ModLoader. As example if u want to overwrite the texture from the level ?A01_Escape_Asylum? the folder structure would be like this : ?Mods/MyTextureMod/levels/A01_Escape_Asylum/? And inside this folder is your file placed ?modelspc.tex? The ModLoader will search for the files by keeping the exact game paths. Youtube preview : https://youtu.be/JkzCMBSv0Iw

How to Install ? ---------------- Just copy all files from the __Build folder into your Manhunt 2 folder (just overwrite all files) Where appear the Vending machine ? ---------------------------------- Level Safe House, u will find it for sure ;) Credits ? ---------------- MAJESTIC_R3 and Sor3nt + all helpers from dixmor-hospital.com Video : https://youtu.be/AB5Fgy59YtY
