Might this be a solution to our problem?Anyway...back to the subject:so like i said we were able to extract sounds from the .rib but we were not able to open or edit them. so anybody has some expirience with that?Greetz

I got this guy at my place of work whos programming.I gave him the "ToWave"-Tool and an example of the ".RIB"-File. He sai, that it must be possible to reverse the process of extracting the audio. I mean whenever you export the innerts of the .RIB-File you get a couple wav-files that are named "corectly" (I mean sth with scene, hunters, numbers and stuff). So im sure the program (ToWave) is not just detecting audio and converts whatever it is able to find with a waveform to a file that we can read.However...the guy from work told me that most of the towave-files are coded with a key so its not that easy to break into this root.Another thing he suggested would just be renaming the .rib-file to .zip , .rar or .mp3 and shit, to see what happens. You guys tried sth like this before?I found a video on youtube where somebody replaced a song in manhunt 2...but they're not using the .rib files as far as i know.Greetz
