As far as I know, this mod has been discontinued, which is honestly a real shame. Still, I’m leaving it here once again in case it ever gets lost.
One of the positive aspects of this mod is that it gives the menu a completely new feel, in addition to adding new visual effects that change the overall atmosphere of the game.
The downside is that, for some reason, the health and stamina bars do not appear, and in my case, on Steam, the execution indicators are also missing. This makes it impossible to know which execution color is required, turning the game nearly unplayable from a gameplay standpoint.
I assume this is intentional and related to the Director’s Cut concept — the “director’s vision” — prioritizing a more cinematic experience over on-screen information.
The mod is available on ModDB and now also here. I don’t know why no one else has preserved it before, so I guess I’m the first to do so.
To be clear, I am not the creator of this mod, and I don’t know who the original author was, as it was reuploaded to ModDB by someone else.
That said, enjoy it while it’s still available.
