Manhunt Achievements adds a complete achievement system to the PC version of Manhunt. Version 2.0 is a standalone ASI plugin. It was split out of the earlier combined build and no longer requires PluginMH, but remains fully compatible with it: PluginMH keeps its own menu untouched and the achievements row is simply added below it. The plugin grew out of PluginMH by ermaccer, whose game research it inherits and which credits Fire_Head for the RenderWare work behind it. Every unlock condition was verified against the PlayStation trophy script written by Ernesto Corvi, so the rules match the console release rather than guessing at them. FEATURES - All 33 PlayStation trophies recreated for PC, with every condition checked against the original trophy script - Achievement gallery in the main menu and in the pause menu - Secret achievements with hidden icons, names and descriptions - Unlock notifications and an optional unlock sound, no extra files needed - Persistent progress with an automatic backup - English and Russian interface, with automatic language detection and a manual override - Keyboard, mouse and gamepad control; Xbox/PlayStation button glyphs when ManhuntGInput is installed - Runs alongside PluginMH without replacing anything of it - Optional strict mode that refuses to count a scene played with cheats, off by default because the console version never checks cheats either - Optional diagnostic log for bug reports REQUIREMENTS - Manhunt for Windows, Steam build - An ASI loader - Ultimate ASI Loader works: put dinput8.dll in the game folder and rename it to ddraw.dll - Windows Vista or newer. No Visual C++ Redistributable needed UPGRADING FROM THE EARLIER BUILD Delete PluginMH_Achievements.asi before installing this one - two achievement engines must not run at the same time. Progress earned with the earlier version is imported automatically on the first run, and the old file is left untouched. IMPORTANT - READ THE INCLUDED README The archive contains a bilingual English/Russian README.txt covering installation, settings and controls. Please read it before installing. BUG REPORTS If you find any bugs, crashes, or incorrect achievement behavior, please report them in the comments. Include as much detail as possible so the issue can be reproduced and fixed. Setting Log=1 in ManhuntAchievements.ini writes ManhuntAchievements.log next to the plugin - attaching it helps a lot. Achievement names, descriptions and icon designs are based on the PlayStation trophy set for Manhunt. Full source code is published, as agreed with the author of PluginMH. This is an unofficial fan modification and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Sony.
